Problem Note 56269: SAS® Episode Analytics 2.2 - Constructed episodes filter incorrectly, includes episodes that lie partially outside of the study period range

In SAS Episode Analytics 2.2.1, for situations where episode dates EPI_START and EPI_END overlap the user study period start and end dates, the filtering process should remove the episodes prior to leveling. Episodes with either a start date or end date that lie outside of the study period dates should not be included.
A solution has been implemented to include a study period filter such that all constructed episodes whose start date (EPI_START) precedes (is strictly less than) the study period start date, or whose end date (EPI_END) falls after (is strictly greater than) the study period do not pass through the study period filter.
All episodes whose start date and end date falls within the defined study period pass through the filter.
